Producer Statement:
Working with Firth, Site Office achieved an EC40 rating, meaning the building has a 40-50% reduction in embodied carbon (EC) relative to the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) 2020 baseline. We also worked with a local producer of precast panels, within 10km of site, enabling cartage emissions to be kept to a very minimum. After all, if a well built concrete building lasts a thouosand years the carbon offset relative to other building materials is superior.
